SEA+SOLU was designed to allow you to get salon quality haircare products that are customisable to your hair needs.

Our core range of products, shampoo, conditioner and mask can be used on their own or you can add one or more of our boosters to the core products to create a bespoke haircare routine.

Yes! You can either add the boosters to our shampoo, conditioner and mask or you can use them directly on your hair for an intense treatment.

Haircare is a very personal journey and no one size fits all. We make it part our mission to only formulate products that use the highest quality ingredients that actually work.

We formulate with clinically proven active ingredients and we never formulate with sulfates, silicones, parabens, DEAs and phthalates. For more information on our clean ingredient methodology see our ingredients page.

Sulfates

• Function: Sulfates are surfactants used in shampoos to create lather and remove dirt and oil from the hair and scalp.
• Cons: Can strip natural oils, leading to dryness, irritation, and damage; may cause allergic reactions and skin irritations; can fade dyed hair.

Silicones

• Function: Silicones are synthetic polymers used to create a smooth and shiny appearance by forming a layer over the hair shaft, which helps smooth frizz and protect from heat damage.
• Cons: Can build up on hair over time, leading to heavy, greasy, and dull-looking hair; not water-soluble, causing product buildup; can cause skin irritation.

Parabens

• Function: Parabens are preservatives used to prevent the growth of bacteria and mold in haircare products.
• Cons: Linked to hormone disruption and breast cancer; can cause skin irritation; can mimic estrogen in the body.

Phthalates

• Function: Phthalates are chemicals used to help fragrances last longer and make products more flexible and pliable.
• Cons: Linked to hormone disruption and reproductive toxicity; can cause skin irritation.

DEAs (Diethanolamines)

• Function: DEAs are chemicals used as emulsifiers and foaming agents in haircare products.
• Cons: Linked to skin and eye irritation, and cancer; can form nitrosamines, which are potent carcinogens.

Yes! We are 100% and cruelty free.

We are a clean and conscious
brand, not a natural brand. There’s an “absolute ‘No’ list” of ingredients we
won’t formulate with (it’s free of sulfates, silicones parabens, phthalates and
is also cruelty-free and vegan).

For some products to be effective
you do have to have some synthetic ingredients in there, but, for us, they have
to be the cleanest of options.

As well as creating clinically
effective products we wanted to create an aesthetically beautiful brand that
people would want. Hair wellness is at the core of everything we do and the
word SOLU means a feeling of absolute bliss. Our beautiful blue colour, represents not only the sea that surrounds Ireland but also represents hydration properties of the
mask.

Self care is so important and we want our consumers to incorporate this mask into their self-care rituals to
have “that Solu feeling to their hair”.  A feeling of self care every day.

The Moisture Melt Hair Mask is our hero product. A weekly deep conditioning mask that is highly concentrated and deeply revitalises and repairs hair to restore overall health and provide long-lasting hydration. The Mask can be used on its own or super charged by adding our hair boosters to meet your hair goals.

These little bottles of magic are just amazing. They are filled wit the most amazing plant based active ingredients.
They  can be mixed and matched with all of our products or used on their own. Each one is filled with clinically proven active ingredients to solve each hair goal.

They are water based so they are lightweight and won’t weight the hair down. They are glyercin based and
glycerin softens, moisturises and protects hair strands.

Strength:
Hydrolysed Walnut extract, Chia extract and Infused with

Fermented rice water, Hydrolyzed Chestnut extract, Powerful hair nourishment rich in amino acids, peptides and minerals. Clinically proven
